In scope

• Coordinating the global implementation of events in different locations
• support local meetup organizers providing the media kit and sharing info about their local events through social media/blog post
• write content about this annual event, specifically related to its relevance and goals such as:
  • gain better insights into the current Cloud Native Sustainability Landscape
  • identify knowledge gaps
  • foster project collaboration
  • raise awareness
  • promote CNCF projects related to environmental sustainability
• organize a global online event also with the presence of CNCF Ambassadors, TAG Operational Resilience, WG Green Reviews, etc.

Out of scope

• providing locations and/or sponsors for the local meetups
• managing CFPs for the local meetups

Deliverable(s) or exit criteria

Global event organized between the first and third week of October along with local meetups during the whole month.

🙌 💚 to this proposal 😄 -- @vallss are you planning on iterating on the existing format - for example.. in the last years it was a challenge to get traction with this topic all over the place , so we could join topics perhaps or events (sustainability x security or sustainability x ai or sustainability x edge)? I remember our previous events took months to prepare, are you already starting?
