'Steps to reproduce' - Which of our features is required for the bug to happen?

I reinstalled the extension and activated hide shorts everywhere. They are still there.

I don't really know. I guess it is YouTube, who changed something.

Does the bug still happen when you log out of YouTube?

Thanks for the detailed template. Since this worked earlier and stopped recently, this is very likely due to a YouTube DOM or experiment change.

To narrow it down, could you confirm:

Whether this happens on Home, Subscriptions, or Search pages (or all of them)

If Shorts are embedded inside the main feed or shown as a separate shelf

Your YouTube language/region

A screenshot of where Shorts are still visible would help identify which selector or observer is no longer matching.

It happens on all the pages and they are embedded in the main feed.
The language/region is German/germany

Hi, I’ve opened a PR that fixes this by updating Shorts feed detection.
CI is awaiting maintainer approval since it’s from a fork.
