bug: The new video player does not work properly ,

**Describe the bug**
The video player (newly integerated i guess) asks for relogin , but shows up even after relogin.

**To Reproduce**
Steps to reproduce the behavior:
1. Click on a video
2. POP up for relogin 
3. And this continues ...

**Expected behavior**
The video should start playing .
