Language Localization

And ideally implement this so it is not so hard for others (ideally even non-coders) to add additional languages. There would be a pretty finite set of strings that have to be translated for each language. There could simply be a YAML file for each language that has all the phrases organized in some sensible way which can be read into the application through some part of the UI and then adding a new language that a user wants to have would be just a matter of someone doing the translation for all those strings using the template YAML file and clicking a few buttons in the UI to ingest it. And the UI could (when they do that), suggest emailing us (or in some other way getting us) the YAML file so we can incorporate it (and thus the additional localization) in the next release.

Localization is a common feature of modern applications so we should definitely start by looking at what packages and solutions are out there that address it.

In this day and age, I imagine people even have packages that use translation web services to get the translated strings and those services might expose the list of languages they can do that for in a way that can be taken advantage of in this application. So the user could go to the localization part of the UI, browse the available languages, select the one they want and the application would then populate the object where it stores all the strings visible in the UI with a quick series of calls the translation web service.
