There's concern that vertical sag in the lens stack (picamera, coupler, lens) due to how that full stack is all cantilevered off the Picamera PCB, may be a culprit in the focus issue (a tilt shift effect). We think the most reasonable short term way to try to address this is to make a custom part/assembly that is fixtured directly to the coupler and that mounts to a the DIN rail.
