Both the dencams that used gel batteries in 2024 (mdc3 and mcd4) have the auto-equalization setting switched turned in the 'ON' position. However, the manual states that only flooded and AGM batteries should have this on, and for Gel it should be off. This could have damaged the gel batteries, which COULD have led to the imperfect performance/gaps on mdc4. For future deployments, switches 1 and 2 and 4 should be "on" and switch 3 should be "off" with the pin plugged in.
