navigator.clipboard or writeText methods undefined in Safari

Did we ever fix the issue with the share button not working on iphones? I’m still getting this error and I don’t remember if it went away and came back or if it never went away?

We haven't done anything about this yet, but we should. This is a weird problem - I used basically the same implementation in the WWT research app and I've used that on a (older) iPhone before, so I'm not sure yet if it's a WebKit issue or an us issue.

He is correct that this is not an issue on the deployed app, so maybe we don't need to worry about it?

If it's not an issue on the deployed app, it's obviously less of a priority (and this would make the security explanation seem more likely).

If you want to serve up the dev server locally as https, you can use yarn serve --https. My browser complains about an unsafe connection when I attempt to visit the page, but that can be bypassed.
