[Feature request] Push URLs to browser history without opening pages #523

Description

A modifier to switch from opening URLs to pushing them to the browser’s history would save me from regularly opening a large number of pages.

Use case 1: I use SnapLinksPlus to mark URLs as visited. One example is post listings. From the listing I can judge if a post is of interest. On my next visit, however, I might not know if I have already seen a post without having a “visited” link color. The preview information (e.g. post title or image) and the order of entries might have changed making it difficult to keep track. To solve this, I use SnapLinksPlus to open all posts. The “visited” link colors allow me to easily identify which posts I have already seen.

Use case 2: Currently, to bookmark multiple URLs, I open them using SnapLinksPlus, select the respective tabs and bookmark them via “Bookmark Tabs…” This requires loading all pages. If the URLs could be pushed to the browser’s history, the pages could be bookmarked without loading them. Multiple history entries can be selected and added via “Bookmark Pages…”.
