I have tried to get this running, but I get this error when testing the intent:

MalformedResponse
expected_inputs[0].input_prompt.rich_initial_prompt: title in suggestion chip must not be longer than 25 characters.

The request is recieved fine by index.php, and it finds a song, and replies with streaming URL and all.

What can i have done wrong here?.

Found the problem, I had to truncate the returned title to max 25 characters, otherwise it will give the above error.

Have you by any chance made playlist support for this integration?.

Glad to know you found the cause of the problem.
About playlists, unfortunately it looks like the Subsonic REST Api has no support to search for playlists, but you can still:

• call getPlaylists to get all of them (Example result: http://www.subsonic.org/pages/inc/api/examples/playlists_example_1.xml)
• filter them using the provided search term and choose the first that matches,get its playlist ID
• call getPlaylist on that playlist id to get the entry ids of the actual files contained in the playlist (Example result: http://www.subsonic.org/pages/inc/api/examples/playlist_example_1.xml)
• use the apiStream and apiGetCoverArt as already implemented to start the stream

In order to get the "next song" playing feature, you'll have to save the playlist queue somewhere in a persistent storage, eg. a file or a database. By now the "search" feature doesn't need this because it just looks at the song's parent (aka directory) and plays the next file in the same directory.

Thanks you for quick reply, I will try to make the playlist function, but I am not so strong in the google assistant api.

I can generate a playlist with stream url's, and store it on the server, but i am not sure about which format, and how to tell the assistant about it.

I have figured it out, and has almost made the function now.

I have succeedes in making it without having to store a local playlist, as the next function now passes the playlist name and last played number to the server.

I am interested in a playlist function as well. Do you plan on sharing the code?
Also, I looked into the subsonic API in an effort to create a queue. I couldn't find anything that would support that, but maybe it can be done on the webhook server or through google storing a playlist somehow. Have you tried anything like that?

I can send you the modified index.php file, but you will probably need to be able to modify some of the code to match your need.

Also you need to make your assistant api to be able to continue to next song in a playlist.

I have no experience in making a queue with subsonic, but you will need to have a service that listens to what subsonic is playing to be able to know when to tell it so play a new song.
