Unable to get facts and changes

Hi and happy eastern.
I'm knew to ascender-ledger and deployed the latest install script from ascender-install.
I gather facts from ascender host himself and see the hostname in the ledger ui, but no facts or changes (i cloned the original template and activated changes).
what am i doing wrong or do i need to set anything else?
any help i welcome.

I am pushing out a few changes that may resolve this issue. Do a rolling restart of your ledger deployment to pull the latest version, and let us know if it resolves your issue. Once you do, make sure you go in settings and ensure the "gather_facts" module is set in the allowed modules. If not, we will need a bit more information to determine where the issue is.
