Mac download is not signed

Works before uploading, but not when downloaded from github. Error says it is damaged and can’t be opened.

If you get this error you can resolve it with the following steps.

Open a terminal and go to your downloads folder
xattr Permastead.App

If it shows the following: com.apple.quarantine

try this:

xattr -d com.apple.quarantine Permastead.app

Now try opening the app.
