Describe the bug
I am having an issue with the fans not turning off/ the computer not going to sleep when I close the lid or suspend the computer. I wasn't sure if it was this or something else, but I tried uninstalling it a couple of times and it only happens when this is installed.
To reproduce
- install z13ctl on fedora/ gnome
Expected behavior
When the lid is closed the computer should go to sleep and not wake back up until the lid is open. Same for the suspend command ore any other method of getting the computer to go to sleep.
Actual behavior
The computer does multiple cycles of sleeping and waking back up before it fully goes to sleep.
Environment
- Linux distribution and version: Fedora Linux 44 (Workstation Edition)
- Kernel version (
uname -r): 7.1.12-200.fc44.x86_64
- z13ctl version (
z13ctl --version): z13ctl version 1.3.2
- ASUS ROG Flow Z13 model year: 2026
- Running as daemon or direct: I think daemon
