Can't use Wordgrinder along with jrnl

I though Wordgrinder and jrnl ( https://github.com/jrnl-org/jrnl ) would be a fantastic team to jot down and write my thoughts in a personal journal. Unfortunately Wordgrinder seems to not be able to edit a file in a temporary folder.

When I create a new entry in my personal journal, jrnl launches the following command:

wordgrinder '/var/folders/v6/3r98tqf14j7bgjdtbdw48mh00000gn/T/jrnlusk44c65.jrnl'

`But the command fails with the following message:

even though the folder /var/folders/v6/3r98tqf14j7bgjdtbdw48mh00000gn/T/ does exist and is a directory.
If I try to edit the very same file with vi, hx, or nano, I can do it without any problems.
jrnlusk44c65.jrnl does not exist at the time Wordgrinder is launched.

Yes, the file doesn't exist, so WordGrinder can't load it!

That said, the ability to create new files this way could be useful --- I'll take a look. However, I'm not convinced that WordGrinder and jrnl will work together. jrnl looks like it wants plain text files, which WordGrinder files aren't.

Text files created on the fly within /var/tmp are quite common, an example being vim integration with Mutt text based Email client. Would be nice seeing wordgrinder export to commonly writable formats, for integration into other tools, but just a thought. More elaborate formats, such as ODT will likely require significant increased code base. More so thinking along simple formats, such as text, rich text, or mark down, etc... Just some thoughts.
