PI prints tool call for last tool call in prompt

I have the lastest stable release of mlx-serve and recently since the last 2 updates I have found that PI will print the tool call for the last message rather than execute this.

Now maybe this is PI, but the only way to solve it is to reload the conversation. To do this i can use /new or /resume and then go back to the original conversation and then tell it to continue.

I will see if this happens in OpenCode,

can you share pi session jsonL file if you can reproduce this ?
Should be here:
ls -lt ~/.mlx-serve/pi/sessions/

Make sure you have latest pi, and see if it works on other models, or if it's model specific.

Also... I believe this was a bug that I fixed in 26.7.9 release, make sure you have that one (or the M5 branch you cloned works too)
