Instead of writing settings to a file in an appdata subfolder named https___github.com_deadly, could PLC just be portable and write its settings to its own folder?

If that's not universally desirable, perhaps PLC could have a portable mode via either:

1. A command-line switch
2. The existence of a settings file in the executable's folder
