pr-title.yml

---
name: PR title

# The PR title becomes the commit subject on main (the repo squash-merges only, with the
# PR title as the subject), and scripts/release.sh renders those subjects into the
# collections' and the chart's changelogs (cliff.toml). release.sh refuses a subject that
# is not a Conventional Commit; this catches it before the merge, while it can still be
# fixed. It does that only as a required status check of the `main` ruleset. Its own
# workflow, not a ci.yml job, because it must re-run when the title is edited, and
# ci.yml must not.
