Show dependencies for fields

When deprecating a field, part of my process is looking at the dependencies on a given field (to be sure that I remove the field from e.g. forms and views where it is currently in use).

Can the tool be expanded to also take dependencies into account? E.g. showing/warning if a field with current dependencies is deprecated. It would also be nice with an easy way of showing dependencies, e.g. by opening the list of dependencies in a browser.

Possibly even a way to confirm "Remove all or selected depdencies" after a short review of the dependencies. - This would include removing the field(s) from selected or all forms.

All of this of course after an appropriate "Are you absolutely sure?" dialog.
