Migrate tools to ArcGIS Pro : )

The good news is the project imported successfully for me and the feature layers were editable. However ...the tools will likely have to be recompiled.

What I am most excited though is the use of "Tasks" in Pro.

#4. Take ArcGIS Pro licenses offline.

By default, ArcGIS Pro requires a direct connection to either arcgis.com or your local Portal for ArcGIS to obtain the license. Fortunately, there’s a new feature which allows you to authorize ArcGIS Pro to work offline. To activate the “offline” license, navigate to Project or About ArcGIS Pro tab, activate Licensing and check the Authorize ArcGIS Pro to work offline option (you must be connected to AGOL or Portal to do this).

After the license has been checked out, you can login to AGOL, navigate to Manage Licenses and check if the process completed successfully.

Your username will be marked with a red vertical bar, and if you left-click on the link under the “Licensed For” column, you should see confirmation that the license has been checked out:

Bump. Pro has been out for many years now, and many organizations that involve SAR functions are migrating completely to Pro. I used the GDB schema recently in Pro on a recent SAR, but having the tools ported from the Legacy ArcMap would have been handy. Unfortunately I cannot write a line of code to save my life....
