I now give the firmware binary for rp2040-pizero because requieres little-to-none soldering, really neat.

Details:
rp2040-pizero is an original WaveShare product which features on-board HDMI connector, plus 2 USB-C, but compatibles can also be found on many other stores.

WARNING
Board shall not be powered after the display, this sets the board in a faled boot state, must use reset button. TECHNICAL DETAIL: the minimal power given tru the HDMI triggers boot, but is not enough to fully boot.

Suggestion: Use 5 wire JST_connector for serial XH2.54, can be found cheap on aliexpress.

Just a note of thanks to both dhansel and Garfius for your contributions.
I wanted a standalone dumb terminal for IOT devices, a homebrew 6502 computer, and a headless linux box. VersaTerm + WaveShare pi pico implementation is the best terminal around for simplicity and function. Turned it on and it just works.
