Mockup

There should be a page, /schedule, which displays the selected workers for given time periods.

The basic format of the page is time progresses down the page with four columns. The first column is the group's manager. Many decisions are voted on, but it is ultimately up to the manager to set the priorities & decide who the pairs performing the work will be.

The remaining three columns are coder slots. All four people are part of the programming mob.

On the side of the screen is an unusual chronology. There are tick marks every 20% of a day (or every 20 hours on a percentage clock). Every fifth mark designates the start of a day.

There are two formats used to designate the day: the shifted Hijri & the Countdown Sidereal Zodiac. The shifted Hijri is simply the Islamic lunar calendar, but with days starting at sunup rather than sundown. The Sidereal Zodiac is the scientifically accurate demarcation of the constellations with respect to the plane of the elliptic, the Earth, & the Sun. The year, however is counting down to the inauguration of a U.S. President with values so radical that their election marks a peaceful revolution.

Currently, the estimate is this is the year is −3 on a zero-based accounting. where 0⁄♑⁄0 is the 20ᵗʰ of January 2029. For negative dates, however, the day number isn't the number of days that have passed in a month, it's how many there are left. So, the progression of days at the transition will look like: −0⁄♐⁄2, −0⁄♐⁄1, −0⁄♐⁄0 ≡ 0⁄♑⁄0, 0⁄♑⁄1, 0⁄♑⁄2…

The base time period for scheduling slots and transitioning operational control is a percent hour where a day contains 100 hours, an hour 100 minutes, and a minute 100 seconds. On such a clock an “hour” is 14.4 minutes.

Users should be able to switch between traditional timekeeping and this adapted one, but the actual time periods used for calculating shifts & breaks is percentage hours.

There are four parallel slots to be filled. Slots vary in time, but repeat at regular intervals. The start times begin shifted relative to one another so that participants come and go at different times.
