Q: Create a "fading" toggle between MS and transcription view?

Question: is it possible for the “toggle” between MS and transcription view to “fade” between the two, or would it need to be a sudden switch? We don’t want to implement anything that isn’t streamlined and simple, so if it’s too much, we don’t want to overcomplicate.

There's an existing control for fading between in the Mirador interface. It would be great to use what's already there, but if we need to add a custom control that's more visible, we can do that.
