The Freedoom project already has a myriad of BSD 3-caluse files, and @nashmuhandes, was able to derive CC0 alternatives for the MBF Helper Dog sprites and sfx.
Boom's digit font remains in the aforementioned legal limbo, and is used all Boom-descendant ports, with Odamex's version being a modification of it.
