The sda and scl are required to be reset manually at the beginning of the simulation

The sda and scl are X when using master agent without being reset manually. The driver may need to be modified to reset the sda and scl first.

Please take a look at the i2c common methods. SDA/SCL are driven to 'X' during reset to verify there is no 'X' propagation for active reset. Once reset is released, signals are driven to a logic high.

Ok thanks. But do you think we should add a function to toggle the reset instead of requiring the user to access the interface reset directly?

Why would the user be required to access the interface? the interface reset can be connected to the design reset, no other intervention should be required. Dov
