How do you view someone's sub-identities?

I expected that if I go to a profile, I would see the other sub-identities linked on it, then I could optionally follow those as well.

Confused on how these sub-identities are meant to work in that regard. They're fully isolated from one another?

Sub-identities are now more like tags now BTW.
