Not working with socket.io 1.4.5

Is this project still active?

I was not able to get it running with socket.io 1.4.5. Always get the info that monitor is not a function for my socket objects when using the middleware.

Please let me know. If it is not maintained anymore I will start contributing to this project because it would be a very great tool

I'd check that your declared socketio variable is correctly named when you attach the monitorio function...

io = require('socket.io')(http, {'pingInterval': 30000, 'pingTimeout': 300000});
monitorio = require('monitor.io');
io.use(monitorio({ port: 8000 })); < -- this needs to use the same name as the require socket call on the first line
