Is there a way to mark a display field as optional?

For the getAll method, there are cases where not all of the items in the API response have the same set of fields available, e.g. items that are in different state would have different sets of fields.

From the README page, there doesn't seem to be a way to display these optional response fields. Please kindly let me know if I missed anything.

Hey @unext-wendong you can set these fields to be displayed either way. They will be presented as empty if they doesn't exist.

Please take a look at the new showFieldWhen property. I'm not sure if it applies to the getAll method, but feel free to test it out and let me know.

I don't have an environment to try it now.
But from the README, it seems this new property showFieldWhen is only available for Input Fields, not for Display Fields.

If it also works for Display Fields, then my issue can be closed.

@unext-wendong Good point — this property indeed only applies to input fields.
Hiding empty fields would really only make sense in the cards layout, not in the table view, right?

I could imagine extending the display property with a new sub-property like hideEmptyDisplayFields, which could be set to true specifically for the cards layout. That way, empty fields could be hidden selectively when using that layout.

Should be fairly straightforward to implement in the cards.component, inside the renderCell() function.
