- WeAct ES8311 + NS4150B module
- ESP32S3 target
- Result: codec control ready; BCLK-derived I2S transport ready; three separated tone bands observed; microphone samples captured; 48 bounded playback/capture frames followed by fail-close and recovery

- The library is installable as a standard Arduino library.
- The shared public headers compile across the intended family set.
- Every currently cataloged named module family now has at least one AVR baseline compile through the umbrella
NiusAudio.hinclude path. - The generic compile-safe matrix was exercised locally on installed AVR, megaAVR, SAM, SAMD, Renesas, Uno Q, RP2040, RP2350, and ArduinoNRF targets.
- The first codec module can be configured and exercised on real ESP32S3 hardware.
- The current ES8311 control flow and ESP32 transport path are not only compile-time constructs.
- The BCLK-derived ES8311 route preserves changing microphone samples, signed-16 playback/capture, and restart recovery on physical hardware.
- The qualified two-slot transport format, signed 16-bit format rejection, and the generic no-register module surface compile against Arduino-ESP32.
Physical audio qualification currently covers the ESP32-S3 with the WeAct ES8311 + NS4150B fixture. Other listed architectures are portability-build targets; a module becomes physically qualified on another architecture when the same codec-response, transport, playback, capture, and recovery checks pass there.
