Importing .MSG files stalls #504

Description

@edwardshaddow

When attempting to import .msg files (with a valid Emailchemy licence dongle installed) ePADD detects the files but remains on the 'working... Found X folders to convert. Finished converting 0 folders.' dialog box with no further progress. This behaviour occurs in v10 and v11 (java 11, 17, 21, and 26 tried).

No error is written to the logs at all. An emailchemy temp file is created with a sub folder for a single .msg file that is empty. I have attempted to import a number of files and a single file from two unrelated archives - same result. I've also left the program running overnight, no change, no epadd errors/logs recorded.

Steps to reproduce the behaviour:

  1. On the Import screen
  2. Fill in the archive details
  3. Verify Emailchemy license: License active
  4. Add .MSG file or folder of files under 'non-Mbox email files
  5. Select 'outlook for windows (MSG)' as input file format
  6. Enter a name of source
  7. Click 'next'

Expected behaviour
Conversion progress displayed and updated. MSG files converted to MBox and presented in the import screen to select folders.

Desktop (please complete the following information):

  • OS: Windows 10; Mac OSX 12.7
  • Browser: Chrome; Safari
  • ePADD Version 10.0.6 and 11.1.0
  • Java Version 11, 17, 21, 26

Additional context
Importing MBox files works as intended on the same system.

Ran epadd standalone jar (v11.1.0) via the command line on OSX and allocated 16GB of RAM (out of 32GB). Attached log from Terminal shows error with com.weirdkid Caused by: java.lang.ClassNotFoundException. Same error using java 11, 21, and 26.
