Clock readability on AOD screen

Thanks for making the Pure clock face, its wonderful to use. I've donated as well as I find it useful.

One issue I see is the clock is not very readable in sunlight. I was wondering if you're already using all of the 20% On Pixel Ratio in AOD mode or if there's scope to make the clock a bit more bold to increase legibility. I've increased the brightness to 100% but I live near the equator and that alone is not enough.

Is the clock only not readable in AOD? Or all the time? Because if you set the Brightness to 100% AOD and normal should be exactly the same.

In normal mode, we consciously turn the hand and even bring the hand closer to the eyes to trigger a wake. In AOD, the hand stays where it is and is farther and harder to read. I (try to) use AOD a lot when outdoors as I prefer to keep by hands on the handle bar or steering wheel.

A bolder font for time would make it easier to read the time at a glance. I'd think it'll also make the AOD watch face more elegant indoors since we can possibly lower the brightness a bit.

It'd be really nice if there's a way to sense ambient light levels and auto-adjust brightness like phones do.

Unfortunately there isn't a way to auto-adjust the brightness (at least for the clock face itself -- my guess is Fitbit could do it).
