We could add an integration test, which sets up the overall system. I would start with the direct fms-forwarder where all components run in Docker compose. A good indicator for a working setup would be to call the rFMS API at the fms-server.

Not yet, so far this issue was more intended as reminder and placeholder that we should think about this topic at some point, e.g., to make it easier to review and test changes.
