Does the library work fine with html 2.0.8 and the current Flask?

flask-htmx works fine, I use it.

What do you mean? Adding htmx to a Flask project is as simple as adding the htmx js file to your static files and link it in your main template. Has nothing to do with flask-htmx.

And if flask-htmx did not work or was not maintained, or whatever. Its just a small wrapper for convenience, you can always modify request/response headers manually.
