Math.ceil for SP?

Is there a reason why this function ( and not Math.round)was used for calculated the new setpoint?

Yes there is.
panasonic works internally with ceil as well. You can see this in compensation curve mode.

Besides that, it does not matter. It is of no consequence. Only for our human brain. 😄

Hm- for my brain and the cop it seems better, if the CCC(WAR)function calculates 37.2 and the output is them 37 and not 38 degrees..
Maybe this is better than the original Panasonic function?
I put a round for the ceil and feel emotionaly much more satisfied 😉

To explain.

If you take the 2 point Compensation Curve control from panasonic itself, and put those values in Excel.
If you then enter the real time values from the temperature and calculate the resulting setpoint, you see that internally the panasonic is doing this.
If it calculates 37.2, It makes 38 of it.
You can verify this yourself with your pump. I base this on my own observation with MY pump. There can of course be differences between them, but I doubt this is one. So you should be able to see the same.

I know our brain is trained to rounding at <0.5 rounds to 0 and anything above will be 1.
The "gap" between the results remains always 1C.
The only difference is the cutoff point. Is it at 0.0 or 0.5.

I get the 'frustration' in this.
On the otherhand, I get feedback like "Why does my Panasonic say 38C while your flow says it should be 37C" 😃

In this case I think: "There is no better choioce"
