Outline

The main character, Kozu, was born into a family of strong and revered mages. When coming of age, he showed a very weak grasp of the arcane arts, and was cast out of family and their palace.

He set off his journey to become a powerful wizard in order to be accepted back into his family. Along the way, he unlocks new abilities through lost scrolls, magical gems, and possibly other means.

During the progression of the story, his family is attacked and overwhelmed by an evil adversary. Kozu must return and face a foe so powerful, not even his legendary family was able to defeat.
