Notifcations are completely black #44

Description

@bobpollack

Starting today, for no reason that I can find, all my notifications pop up in a completely black unreadable window. I've tried re-installing Chrome (Version 32.0.1700.76 m), re-installing Kindling, and rebooting my machine, but none of this helped.

I have more information since I posted this problem. I was able to work around the problem by changing my desktop theme (Windows 7, Service Pack 1) from the Classic theme to one of the "Aero" themes (these are the themes with transparent window tops).

Any of the Aero themes seem to work and none of the Basic and High-Contrast themes.

But just for the record, this problem started suddenly, around the time of my original report, even though I had made no change to my desktop theme. I had been using Kindling with the Classic theme for nearly a year, without any problems.

I also can't figure out why the fonts in this post have different sizes in different places; I apologize for the annoyance.
