Q. where to describe version-to-version changes?

Currently the tabhunter repo seems to have three files that have had changelog-type info written into them, namely HISTORY.md (2.2.2 - 3.1.2) / HISTORY.txt (2.1.6 - 3.5.0) / updates.md (2.1.7)

There is also the manually entered changelogs that accompany the addon uploads

and

Would it be reasonable to produce a single file containing a union of these disparate sources and then we can use that going forward? Happy to knock up a PR if it seems reasonable
