Extracting core logic for re-use in other tools

Looks interesting. Would you consider extracting the core logic into its module for use inside of vscode-json-commenter but also for re-use inside of other tools such as a new third-party plugin for Neovim?

I would certainly help someone else to do that but I wouldn't have the expertise myself. It's not a matter of time commitment. I'll spend time on anything that can be helpful and widely used. But other environments like neovim would require a big learning curve.
