RaceDB License Holders / License Holders Import Excel fails to update the UCI Code, which I assume is equivalent to the UCI ID.

Import info showing that racedb will look at uci_code, and for the test person, had a uci_code. I previously modified their license to force the import to process a change:

This is immediately after the import. The UCI ID field was not updated.

Changing to UCI ID does correctly update.

UCI Code is the obsolete code made up of the 3-letter country code and the riders' date of birth (eg. CAN20020306) It is not the 11-digit number of the UCIID. I tried eliminating the UCI Code entirely when it went obsolete, but some people complained that they were still using it. And for historical reasons, some people didn't want confusion between the UCI Code and the UCI ID. If the rider has a UCI ID, use UCI ID as the column. UCI Code doesn't map to it. A quick fix would be to change the documentation that UCI Code is not supported. More details: UCIIDs are guaranteed unique, whereas the former UCI Code was non-unique for riders from the same Nationality with the same birthday. The likelihood of a duplicate UCI Code in a single race category was small, but it did happen. The likelihood of a duplicate in a multi-race series was certainty, rendering the UCICode usable as a database id. Additionally, in certain countries, PPI laws (Personal Protected Information) prohibit publishing Nation and birthday information without consent. The UCIID has been a tremendous help in identifying riders (although it suffers from a number of other flaws I won't get into here). The UCI relies on the National Federations to issue UCIIDs. It allocates reserved blocks of them annually to the Federations so the Federations can assign them to license holders without bothering the UCI each time. The problem is that if the National Federation does not have a good process of keeping track, and if the rider asks for a UCI ID more than once, the Federation can issue multiple UCIIDs to the same rider. For example, on the CCN site, riders are asked to enter their existing UCIID. If they don't, they get another one - no questions asked. This is an easier problem to deal with than duplicates (pick one and stop using the other ones). However, I have seen riders with their UCI points split between multiple UCIIDs as they gave different UCIIDs when they registered. It's difficult to get this sorted out.
