For very large indexes, the Search API Index (Indexed listing) can time out with the default PHP-FPM settings. Upping the general time out is not a great idea, but we could just target that URL? Maybe make it more generic so custom Indexes/Servers can also benefit from it?
One issue I have no control over is when Servers run behind a CDN like cloud fare, there, the time out happens on the front end.
