Pdf reader does not respect page boundaries while swiping up or sideways

While swiping up or sideways (depending on the reader direction settings), the default pdf reader often does not to the next page and gets stuck halfway between the current page and next page

In the attached screenshot you can see the issue where the scroll is stuck between pages and the new page is partly below the viewport

This is expected behavior with the native PDF reader — it does not enforce strict page boundaries during swipe/scroll interactions.

Also, the native PDF reader is primarily designed for text-centric reading, not comic-style page navigation.

If you want a comic-style paged experience, please disable the native PDF reader and use the DIVINA reader instead.

I tried that. The issue is the divina reader is rendering pdfs very poorly like this. You can see the text is blurred and almost unreadable

Should this be filed as a bug with the divina reader for pdfs

Just to confirm: are you seeing this while reading via stream, or after Make Offline?

If it is in stream mode, KMReader currently displays images rendered by the Komga server side, so image quality may be noticeably lower.
If it is after Make Offline, KMReader uses the local native PDF renderer, and quality should generally be better.

Also, after downloading, please clear the cache first and try again.

Linked to this, is there a way to have the native iOS PDF reader « switch » from page to page instead of the continuous swipe which is not super easy to use? I have seen this on some apps using the native PDF reader but able to « cut » on pages, either page by page or double page by double page (I hope I am clear in my explanation). I know I can convert to Divina but then I am « stuck » with the resolution of the conversion, plus I lose links and TOC
