Authentication, Authorization, and Identity

In a perfect world, end users wouldn’t need to be involved in the authentication process at all.

It’d be much more seamless if there were a standard mechanism for digital wallets to automatically sign a special authentication message whenever needed.

In fact, such a thing was proposed on the Ethereum Wizards forum back in 2019, but the idea seems to have died on the vine due to lack of community support…
