Plugin not published on any public Maven repository

The plugin is not published on any public Maven repository. Not really a 
"defect" of the plugin itself, but it would simplify usage if it was available 
on a public Maven repository. 

Suggested solution: Publish plugin on a public Maven repository.

Server side are still the official owners for the plugin so I'm awaiting 
permission to make this move, I'll chase it up again soon.

You can also try using wagon-scm and use your SVN repo as your Maven repo.

This issue is quite old. but still no resolution on this. are we still waiting
