Hi @fafalone - I have been working on Excel-DNA for a long time, and got to know the Excel C API and COM integration bits quite well while integrating .NET with Excel.
If you have any questions or run into anything unexpected while doing the same here, feel free to contact me directly and I'd be happy to chat or help figure things out.
The more users there are of the Excel C API and COM integration, the better for my project too.

Thanks, appreciate it. Planning to revisit in the next couple days to make a demo of a UDF. Seems there's a lot of interest I might take it further and do a basic friendly wrapper class.
