bug: `C-<key>` keybindings don't work

• Emacs-like C-a and C-e don't work in prompts
• C-n to use completion in insert mode doesn't work either
• C-r in insert and prompt mode to paste contents of a buffer
• etc...

none of these work and I assume the rest aswell

Interesting, this works for me 🤔 What desktop environment are you using? Do you use Wayland or X11? I personally use GNOME Wayland

I think I will add some debugging features in the next commit such that it will be easier for me to debug it. I'm on it!

I'm currently using Cinnamon with X11, i'll do some more testing in some other envs too and i'll tell you my findings
