Description
Calendar events are not syncing consistently to Hyprnote. Some existing events display, but others don't. Newly created events don't appear at all, even after waiting and restarting the app.
Steps to Reproduce
- Grant Hyprnote calendar access in System Settings → Privacy & Security → Calendar
- View calendar in Hyprnote and compare to macOS Calendar app
- Note that some events are visible but others are missing (no clear pattern—includes recurring and non-recurring events)
- Create new test events in macOS Calendar app
- Observe that new events don't appear in Hyprnote calendar view
Expected Behavior
All events from macOS Calendar should be visible in Hyprnote. New events should appear after creation.
Actual Behavior
- Some existing events display in Hyprnote, others don't (affects recurring and non-recurring events)
- Newly created events do not appear in Hyprnote
- All events (including missing ones) are visible in the native macOS Calendar app
- Issue persists across multiple calendar sources
Environment
- Platform: macOS 26.3.1
- App Version: 1.0.15
- Architecture: aarch64
- Build: 2b111d3
- Locale: en-US
- User ID: beaea632-8ba0-4a5e-bf07-784fd9b23eb3
Troubleshooting Attempted
- Revoking and re-granting calendar permissions in System Settings
- Restarting Hyprnote
- Testing with multiple calendar sources
- No cache clearing or manual sync options found in Hyprnote settings
