David Heitzer commented: This POC has been pushed to CR. The following silk captures shows the improved query performance for the /api/v1/transactions/ endpoint (most notably, number of queries down to 5 from 105 using max page size on transaction list page).

Changes were made to only serialize required fields for our list endpoint (which reduced subqueries to tables like report). Additionally, we may update the manager query itself to only retrieve needed fields which may improve the query time metric.
