FlyUC is a student organization at the University of Cincinnati's College of Engineering and Applied Science. The team was initially formed for the GoFly Prize in 2017 with the goal of creating a Vertical Take-Off and Landing (VTOL) aircraft that could carry a human. FlyUC is proud to say they are a Phase III team. FlyUC decided to leave the GoFly competition the summer of 2019 after several failed designs and inability to meet the difficult timelines.

FlyUC still continues to work on VTOL aircraft designs, but with a huge emphasis on all electric flight. The primary objective is to create a platform for students interested in the concept of vertical flight expand their knowledge, gain hands on experiences, and develop innovative solutions to solve the complex problems presented by eVTOLs.
