Description
QuestNav reports a very accurate position in relation to where it started, but it's not smart enough to know where that starting position is in relation to the Reefscape field.
We need a strategy and process for setting up the robot's initial position. Some options I can think of:
- Line up the robot with a specific place on the field everytime
- This is the simplest method
- Any mistakes in postion or angle placement throw off the entire match
- We may need multiple spots since alliance members may strongly prefer the same starting position
- Use PhotonVision to get a fix at the start of the match
- This is the a more complex method
- It will be more forgiving
