I have 7-Zip 4.65, which I believe to be the last version of 7-Zip with Windows 9x support.
The 7z archive provided on the release uses a compression method for many of the files that this cirac-2009 version of 7-Zip does not recognize. The files appear as taking 0 bytes in the archive and cannot be extracted.
Ubuntu 22.04's built-in 7z extraction support can understand the archive just fine.
The release archive should be packed using only compression methods for which decompression software is available on Win9x.
