Probing Temp

Hello,

Unsure of if this is a ZMOD configuration or your mod, but looking to adjust the probing temperature, but unsure of where to make the edits. The default temp of 145C seems to cause me a lot of oozing when using TPU, so my bed mesh is quite off.

Bambufy uses a dynamic probe temperature based on the printing temperature, specifically 75°C below it. 75°C should be enough to stop the material from oozing, especially at a printing temperature of 220°C, which in theory is the low range for TPU.

Perhaps the problem occurs earlier, when Bambufy tries to clean the nozzle with the rubber and drags some residue from there. I haven't tried the nozzle cleaning process with TPU.

Can you try a higher or lower printing temperature and let me know if it improves anything?

For the temp I use at 220, its til does an ooze post cleaning, but every so slightly during probing. If I am doing a large print, that slight ooze builds up and the bed mesh is no longer valid farther along into the mesh.

While a portion of the problem is earlier, it is ever so slightly oozing during the probe. I can physically watch as its coming out of the nozzle. Its very light, but if the KAMP mesh is large the effect is that farther along into the mesh, the nozzle has more buildup.

I am looking for a way to put in my own dynamic value, or even a static value, maybe an edit in user.cfg?

The -75 is hardcoded in the _CLEAR_NOZZLE macro. You can overwrite it in user.cfg:
