Means to shrink a nav header on scroll given scrollable section

I found some of the features in this library nice and wonder how can it be expanded or if this connects well with other libraries.

My use case is this:

A nav header, on top, quite big;

When the user scrolls down, the said nav header shrinks and is kept sticky.

From my current reasoning I would say:

• A mechanism that dispatches a new class to the nav header, or to additional other elements in the page, based on the current scrollable section.
